Refund Policy

Effective date: May 3, 2026

This Refund Policy explains when Tonic Studio will issue refunds for subscription fees and credits.

1. Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not issue pro-rata refunds for unused days within a billing period.

Annual subscriptions. You may request a pro-rata refund for an annual subscription within 14 days of initial purchase or renewal, provided you have not consumed more than 10% of your included credits. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.

Free trial. If you are charged after a free trial and believe this was in error, contact us within 7 days for a full refund.

2. Credits

Purchased credit packs. Credit packs are non-refundable once purchased, except:

  • If a generation fails due to a Tonic system error, the credits consumed will be automatically refunded to your balance.
  • If you are charged for a generation that was never delivered (e.g., due to a processing error), contact support within 14 days for a credit refund.

Subscription-included credits. Credits included in a subscription plan are non-refundable and do not carry over to the next billing period (except where your plan explicitly states otherwise).

3. Failed Generations

If a video or script generation fails due to a technical error on our end, we will automatically restore the consumed credits to your account within 24 hours. If this does not happen, contact support@tonicstudio.ai with your generation ID.

4. Exceptions

We may, at our discretion, issue refunds outside these terms in exceptional circumstances. If you believe you have a valid case for a refund not covered above, please contact us and describe the situation.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email support@tonicstudio.ai with:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of the charge
  • The amount charged
  • A brief description of why you are requesting a refund

We aim to respond within 2 business days.

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and bank.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated effective date.
